About me
My name is Martina and I am an audiovisual translator. I translate from English and French into Catalan and Spanish (from Spain) as well as between Catalan and Spanish interchangeably.
I hold a Bachelor's degree in Translation and Interpreting from Pompeu Fabra University. My passion for translating audiovisual content led me to specialize further with a Master's in Audiovisual Translation from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, which helped me hone my skills and deliver more accurate and efficient translations.
I have translated about fifteen audiovisual works, including films, documentaries and short films, mainly with subtitles (you can see my portfolio here). Thanks to my academic background, I am also proficient in other modalities of audiovisual translation, such as accessibility, dubbing, voice-over and localisation (click here for a full list of my services).
I believe that great translation requires care, patience, and creativity. I deliver high-quality work and I am very meticulous with every project I undertake. Do you need subtitles for a film? Do you want to make your content accessible to blind or deaf and hard-of-hearing audiences? Are you looking to translate your website into other languages? Get in touch, and let's discuss how I can help!
